Tortilla soup was tasty but quite salty. Grilled cheese was ok.Waitress was excellent for our party of 9.

Just a heads up, they auto-grat 18% for To-go AND Happy Hour menu. I didn't realize this the two times I ordered To-go and tipped over the 18% both times. I was there for Happy Hour a couple weeks ago & fortunately happened to notice the "18% auto-grat during Happy Hour " on the check (otherwise we would have double tipped again). When I was a server and there was an auto-grat, I always let my guests know when I delivered the check (often my guests would tip a little more on top of that anyway). I can better understand auto-grat for take-out, but during Happy Hour and regardless of the party size? I know a lot of you won't agree, and I respect that, but I don't think guests expect an auto-grat simply because of the time of day. I also noticed (only when I was leaving) their B rating. I just read a response from Ditto's within the past month that said their rating is now an A. Well, it wasn't 2 weeks ago, so either they lied or they fell back down to a B already.

Ditto's is an institution, a Louisville Original and deserving of a much broader audience. Their menu is both broad and deep, with options for Ovo-Lacto, Vegan, and Reduced Calorie- a great place for diverse parties of different ages especially. The Thai wings with the tobacco onion straws are a top shelf appetizer. The crab cakes and citrus salad are likewise reccomended. (As the dinner place before we visit Baxter theatre, we have favorite servers that we know, but have never had any problem getting our food and bill with more than enough time to make our show.)
